A taxi driver has been left "scarred for life" after being slashed in the face with a bottle after coming to the rescue of a woman he heard crying for help.
The driver heard a woman crying out from a parked car, thought to be a blue BMW, in Ashburton, Croydon, as he was driving towards Bromley at 11.45pm on Saturday.
