Holly Willoughby came third (30 per cent) with one in three women opting for the TV presenter for her fun and friendly nature.
According to Entertainmentwise, the survey found that most men would like to meet James Bond, with Daniel Craig coming second (20 per cent) in the poll as the man they would choose to share a city break with.
Cheryl Cole, Olly Murs, Jessica Ennis and David Beckham also made the top ten list.
But when asked who they would least like to travel with, the Britons aged between 18 and 34 years, said Katie Price, followed by Jedward, Pete Doherty, Ed Miliband and Peter Andre.
Carl Michel, Executive Chairman of Generator, said: 'After the Olympics and the Queen's Jubilee it is interesting to see that Brits are now more patriotic than ever, having given the young royals the public seal of approval as potential roommates.'
