One lucky dog is set to have the most luxurious canine holiday of all time - and it will set its owner back a cool £47,000.
From the time he is collected by chauffeur, to the moment he wags his tail goodbye to the Paw Seasons luxury dog hotel in Long Ashton, Bristol, he will have been pampered to within an inch of his life.
The holiday kicks off with travelling in style, being collected by The Paw Seasons' hotel chauffeur.
The dog's suite includes a screen showing favourite doggie films (Lassie and 101 Dalmatians) accompanied by dog-friendly popcorn (yes, really).
Local beach and countryside walks and games, a surfing lesson, as well a running session with 400m hurdles Commonwealth and World Champion Dai Greene, will keep them entertained.
There'll also be a day with author and TV dog behaviour expert Stan Rawlinson the Doglistener, reiki sessions, and a 'Spa & Groom' with The Pet Spa at Harrods, including aromatherapy bath and body message, wash and fluff dry, and a pedicure.
What's more, a luxury wardrobe, including Louis Vuitton collar, Bottega Veneta lead and Mulberry rain mac, will ensure the dog looks paw-fect, too.
The dog's owners will receive a bespoke solid bronze car mascot of their pet as well as a portrait by artist Jo Chambers, and can be kept up to date with the dog's stay via Facebook and YouTube.
The lavish dog break is being offered through luxury launches site VeryFirstTo.com, which recently sold the world's most expensive human holiday, visiting every World Heritage site over two years at an eye-popping price £960,000 per couple.
Jenny Hytner-Marriott, Founder of The Paw Seasons says: "Being the leaders in luxury breaks for dogs, we wanted to be the first to offer the most spectacular luxury holiday a dog could wish for. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Cancer Research, two charities very close to our hearts will be benefitting."
Marcel Knobil, founder of VeryFirstTo says: "We inform of, and provide, newly launching luxury products and experiences to over 24,000 members globally and are delighted to now extend new luxury offerings to the canine world. We embrace luxury from Gucci to 'Poochi'!"
It sounds amazing, if a little barking mad...
